About Dr. Brown

Dr. Alesia Brown has been practicing dentistry since 1998. She is a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Dr. Brown is a community-minded dentist having volunteered monthly at Impact Christian Health Ministry beginning in 1999 until it dissolved, and currently she volunteers at Evansville Christian Health Ministries and has since its conception .

Dr. Brown is an accredited dentist, a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and a Diplomate of American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. With these qualifications she is able to treat patients for obstructive sleep apnea, specializing in oral appliance therapy. She currently works with sleep physicians at both local hospitals, Ascension St. Vincent and Deaconess, to enable more options for those who cannot tolerate a CPAP or those who choose an oral device over other treatment.

Dr. Brown and her husband, Lee, love the Lord and have two wonderful adult children who work alongside her. When Dr. Brown is not at work or expanding her dental and medical education, she is spending time with her family. She has an extreme love for animals, enjoys the outdoors; from trail riding to motorcycle riding, from hiking to kayaking.

Julie Newton

Julie is a graduate of Auburn University School of Engineering. She joined the Dental Team as
Lead Receptionist in 2008 and in 2020, she became the Patient Care Coordinator for Poseyville
Dental Sleep Solutions. She is very involved in her local church and enjoys spending time with
her husband of more than 20 years. In her free time, she takes pleasure in traveling, camping
and hiking with her husband and three daughters.

As Patient Care Coordinator, she walks patients through the process of obtaining a Mandibular
Advancement Device. Patients are informed all along the way concerning what appointments
are needed as well as what documentation is required to maximize Medical Insurance benefits
for payment, thus reducing patient out-of-pocket expense

Andrea Scholomer

Annie is an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant with over three decades of experience. She has
been a part of our Dental Team for 11 years and she has been the Senior Sleep Assistant since
the creation of Poseyville Dental Sleep Solutions. She loves spending time with her husband,
their four children and three grandchildren. She and her husband enjoy fishing and vacationing
in the mountains.

As Senior Sleep Assistant she does all things clinical to help patients receive treatment. Her
listening ear catches the 'red flags' of Obstructive Sleep Apnea and she is always ready with a
smile and joke to make even the worst gagger survive the experience.
